RMAFC PRAISES PRESIDENT TINUBU.
The Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for adopting the Oronsanye Committee Report to curb high cost of governance.
In a press statement signed by, Chairman of the Commission Mohammed Bello observed that the problem of cost of governance is responsible for the reduction in the provision of infrastructure and social services.
RMAFC explained that the high cost of governance in Nigeria is attributed to factors such as the presidential system’s expense, bureaucracy, corruption, infrastructure failure, security costs, and excessive expenditures.
The report Oronsanye aims to rationalize federal agencies, parastatals, and commissions, reducing the cost of governance and promoting sustainable development.
