NIGERIA’S ECONOMY GROWS FASTER, MOVING TOWARDS USD 1 TRILLION TARGET

Nigeria’s economy is growing at a faster pace. New figures show the country’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP, rose by 4.43 per cent in the second quarter of 2026. That is higher than the 4.23 per cent recorded in the same period last year, and 3.89 per cent in the first quarter of this year.

TAX OMBUD, OGFZA PARTNER TO BOOST INVESTOR CONFIDENCE

The Office of the Tax Ombud and the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority, OGFZA, are set to work together to attract more foreign direct investment into Nigeria’s oil and gas free zones. The partnership was announced on Wednesday, August 20th, 2026.
