The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, has unveiled its Anti-Corruption Policy Document to strengthen transparency and ethical conduct.

The document was unveiled on Monday, September 22, 2026, at the TCN headquarters in Maitama, Abuja, by the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit, ACTU.

‎Managing Director of TCN, Engineer Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, who was represented by Executive Director, Human Resources and Corporate Services, Mrs. Abiodun Afolabi-Fadahunsi, says the initiative will reinforce zero tolerance for corrupt practices.

He says TCN’s credibility depends not only on what it achieves but how it achieves it, and urges staff to reflect the policy in their daily conduct.

‎Earlier, Chairman of ACTU, Mrs. E. Benibo, says corruption weakens institutions and wastes resources, adding that fighting it requires commitment of every staff.

‎Also speaking, representative of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC, and ACTU Desk Officer, Mrs. Monsurat Ajoke Ifeajika, says the policy will guide prevention, detection and reporting of unethical practices.

The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the anti-corruption policy book.
