CIVIL SERVICE CHIEF TASKS DIRECTORS ON MENTORSHIP

‎The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Olumuyiwa Enitan Abel, has urged directorate-level officers to strengthen mentorship and leadership in the service.

‎Abel spoke in Abuja at an interactive session with officers on Grade Levels 15 to 17. It was the final phase of his staff engagement series at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service.

He said directors are critical to policy implementation and should guide younger officers and promote accountability and innovation.

‎He called for continuous learning and teamwork to improve service delivery under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Permanent Secretary, Common Services Office, Danjuma Kalba, and Director of Human Resources, Jennifer Sharang, said the engagement shows inclusive leadership and pledged support for a responsive civil service.
