ABUJA, Nov 3 – The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) will carry out a planned outage at the Nsukka-New Haven 132kV transmission substation from Nov. 5 to Nov. 10 to conduct tests on its equipment.

‎TCN said in a notice on Tuesday that its contractor will carry out Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) pre-commissioning tests at the substation.

‎

‎The outage will be done in phases over four days, the company said.

‎

‎TCN said only areas directly affected by the work will have power interruptions at any given time, while other areas will continue to get electricity supply.

‎

‎It added that there will be no outage on Sunday, Nov. 8 and Tuesday, Nov. 10 as work continues.
