The Federal Government has launched three digital platforms to strengthen the implementation and sustainability of public service reforms across the federal public service. The platforms were developed by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, BPSR, and unveiled by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, in Abuja.

Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Dr. Dasuki Arabi, said the platforms include the Reforms Tracker Dashboard, a real-time system for monitoring reform initiatives across ministries, departments and agencies; a Knowledge Repository for storing reform-related information; and the National Strategy for Public Service Reform Dashboard, which provides executive-level analysis of reform implementation and progress.

Dr. Arabi said that the President Tinubu administration places high priority on institutional reforms, digital transformation, efficient public service delivery, transparency, accountability and good governance. He noted that achieving these goals requires reliable digital systems that provide real-time information for effective decision-making and measurable results.

He also said Nigeria has, for many years, relied on foreign organisations and institutions for data on government activities. According to him, the new platforms are part of efforts, supported by the SGF, to generate local data, document the country’s reform achievements and present Nigeria’s performance to the international community.

The Director-General further described digital transformation as essential to effective governance. , stressing that the new platforms mark an important step towards strengthening public institutions, improving service delivery and promoting greater accountability in government.
