Ms. Chidimma Adetshina has emerged Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.

Chidimma, who was announced winner at the grand finale in Lagos over the weekend, is a twenty three-year-old law student that defeated twenty four other contestants.

She had faced significant backlash in Miss South Africa 2024 over her Nigerian heritage, which necessitated her eventual withdrawal from the pageant. 

In response, Chidinma was invited to participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant where she represented Taraba State.

As the winner, she will represent Nigeria at the seventy third Miss Universe competitions in Mexico on November sixteen.
