The Executive Director/CEO Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Nonye Ayeni says the current state of the country’s economy from the perspective of a Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), like the NEPC, offers a golden opportunity to diversify the productive base of the Country through non-oil export.

Nonye Ayeni made this known at the third National annual conference on non-oil export held on tuesday in Abuja, with the theme “Promoting Non-Oil Export for Rapid National Economic Growth”.

 Reeling out the potential of Nigeria in the non oil sector,Mrs Nonye Ayeni emphasized on the need to develop a road mark that will enable the non oil sector to earn more foreign exchanges.

She affirmed that the theme of the conference aptly encapsulates the objectives of the diversification agenda of the present

Mrs Nonye however assured of  NEPC’s determination to improve the nation’s revenue generation through the non oil export plans for economic growth.
