EGUAVOEN INVITES 30 HOME-BASED PLAYERS FOR GHANA CLASH

Kano Pillars midfielder Rabiu Ali and 29 other players have been invited to the Super Eagles B camp by interim coach Austin Eguavoen for the 2024 CHAN qualifiers double-header against Ghana.

The players, including Remo Stars goalkeeper Kayode Bankole, Rivers United defender Steven Mayo, Abia Warriors forward Sunday Megwo, and Nigeria Premier League top scorer Anas Yusuf, are expected to resume camp at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on 4 December.

The first leg of the qualifiers will be played in Accra, while the return leg is scheduled for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on 28 December.

The eighth edition of the continental championship is set to take place from February 2025 across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
