Former Flying Eagles and Enugu Rangers left back Ikenna Eneh has reportedly died in South Africa at age forty four.

Eneh played the left back position for Nigeria at the 1999 FIFA under 20 World Cup which the country hosted and lost to Mali in the quarter-finals.

Reportedly homeless with his children in South Africa sometimes ago until his friends rallied round to raise cash for him, he was prevailed to return to Nigeria with his family to have a fresh start but he decided otherwise until his death.

He is survived by his wife and children.
