EXECUTIVE ARM OF RIVERS STATE ACCUSES PRO WIKE LAW MAKERS OF FRUSTRATING FUBARA’S EFFORT TO IMPLEMENT SUPREME COURT RULLING

The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation has issued a press release distancing itself from allegations of corruption involving Hon. Andrew Torhile Uchi, Personal Assistant to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. According to reports, Uchi is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of corruption, bribery, and money laundering amounting to approximately N10 billion .

The OSGF has categorically stated that its leadership is not involved in the alleged misconduct and reiterates its commitment to transparency, accountability, and integrity. 

The Office recognizes the efforts of the EFCC in ensuring that those found culpable are held accountable and urges the public not to speculate or draw conclusions as investigations are still ongoing.

This development comes as the EFCC continues its investigation into the alleged corrupt activities. The OSGF has assured the public that it will cooperate fully with the EFCC to ensure that the truth is revealed.

In a statement signed by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations, the OSGF appreciates the understanding and support of the public on this matter as the  Office remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and transparency in its operations.
