The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) is set to run an end-of-the-year special train service on all its routes across the country, in line with the Federal Government’s directive through the Federal Ministry of Transportation.

The NRC in a statement  said the modality for the special service will be released soon.

The service will be available on scheduled passenger trains, ensuring affordable transportation options for citizens during the Yuletide period.

The NRC has previously approved a 50% discount for inter-state road travel and 100% for train trips for Nigerians traveling to celebrate Christmas with their families.
