The Federal Government has pledged to combat certification fraud in educational institutions in its neighboring countries to protect the reputation of Nigeria’s educational certificates at international levels.

The Minister of State for Education, Tanko Sununu, assured the National Association of Nigerian Students Diaspora leadership during a crucial engagement.

Sununu explained that the government is implementing measures to streamline the student scholarship process to ensure deserving students receive the necessary support to pursue their studies.

He added that the government is also addressing the alarming prevalence of certification racketeering in neighboring countries, particularly in the Benin Republic and Togo.
