
MINISTRY OF EDUCATION SET UP COMMITTEE TO COMBAT BULLYING IN SCHOOLS
The Federal Ministry of Education (FME) has formed a 7-member committee to combat bullying in Nigerian schools.
Director of Press and Public Relations for the Federal Ministry of Education Folasade Boriowo revealed this via a statement made available to education correspondents in Abuja.
According to the statement, the committee will review reported cases and ensure swift action, complementing the 21-member team working on a National Policy on Anti-Bullying.
The ministry has introduced a hotline for confidential reporting and urged support from school administrators, teachers, parents, and students, Hotline: 09012660044.
