Netflix has increased its subscription fees in Nigeria, following a 40 percent increase in April 2024.

The Premium Plan now costs 7, 000 naira per month, while the standard plan has increased from 4, 000 naira to 5,500 naira.

The Basic plan has risen by 21 percent to 3, 500 naira and the lowest subscription plan, Mobile, has increased by 83 percent.

This marks Netflix’s second price adjustment in Nigeria within three months, following a similar increase in April.

The changes aim to accelerate revenue and earnings growth, following a pattern of price hikes to support content expansion.
