
NIGERIA AND UAE PARTNERS TO EXPLORE NEW AREAS IN CULTURE AND TOURISM
The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has emphasized the importance of strengthening tourism and cultural ties between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Minister made this known during a meeting with the UAE Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Salem Saeed Musabbeh Al Mahyoub Al Shamsi, in Abuja.
Minister Musawa highlighted the importance of empowering Nigeria as a gateway country to the black global community. She noted that tourism is now a significant source of power and that Nigeria needs to have a more curative relationship with the UAE.
Musawa also expressed hope that the UAE’s success in transforming tourism can be a model for Nigeria.
The UAE also plans to invest in Nigeria’s film, music, and fashion industries.
