ABUJA, SEPTEMBER 1, 2026
The Nigeria Customs Service has announced dates for the physical screening and documentation of successful recruitment candidates.
The exercise will take place at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College in Gwagwalada, Abuja. All shortlisted candidates are expected to attend.
Candidates must come with original documents and photocopies. Required documents include National Identification Number, birth certificate or age declaration, and educational certificates. This covers O’Level, ND, HND, and degree certificates.
They must also present a certificate of state of origin, two recent passport photographs, and a completed guarantor’s form. An NYSC certificate is required where applicable.
Applicants are advised to wear a white T-shirt, shorts, and canvas shoes for the exercise. The Service says candidates must report only on the date assigned to their state and cadre.
Attendance is compulsory. The Nigeria Customs Service warned that failure to appear on the scheduled date may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.
After the screening and documentation, successful candidates will get more instructions on the next stage of the recruitment. The Service said the process will be transparent, fair, and based on merit.
The announcement was signed by Deputy Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada, the National Public Relations Officer. The Service urged candidates to get information only from official Nigeria Customs channels.
