NIGERIAN DJ ASSOCIATION SUSPENDS BURNA BOY’S SONGS AMID DJ TUNEZ ASSAULT PROBE
The Nigerian DJ Association (NDJ) has instructed its members to temporarily remove Burna Boy’s songs from their playlists, pending an investigation into a reported altercation between the singer and DJ Tunez at a Lagos event.
Burna Boy and his crew allegedly clashed with Disc Jockey Michael Adeyinka, popularly known as DJ Tunez, at a Lagos nightclub.
According to eyewitnesses, a disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation, leaving DJ Tunez assaulted.
In a statement, the association expressed solidarity with DJ Tunez, urging DJs nationwide to uphold professionalism and vigilance at events.
The NDJ emphasized equality among DJs and condemned hostility, citing a commitment to fairness within the entertainment industry.
