The Director-General of the Atum Humanitarian, Anti-Corruption and Charitable Initiative (AHACCI), Ismaila Atus, has called on Nigerians to support the federal government’s effort to tackle insecurity.

He urged the citizens not to lose faith in President Bola Tinubu‘s administration’s efforts to fight insecurity.

Atus expressed confidence that President Tinubu’s administration will overcome terrorism, banditry, and other security challenges confronting the country.

Speaking with reporters, Atus said the security situation deteriorated under previous administrations but noted that Tinubu has demonstrated the political will and commitment needed to restore stability.

He recalled that under the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, insecurity escalated, with frequent kidnappings, attacks, and other forms of violent crime affecting communities across the country.
