The Presidency has affirmed that Nigeria is on course to achieve the health agenda outlined by the current administration.

This assertion was made by Special Adviser on Health to President Bola Tinubu, Dr. Salma Ibrahim Anas during the annual conference of the Association of Nigerian Health Journalists (ANHEJ).

Dr. Ibrahim-Anas highlighted several notable achievements and interventions in the health sector, emphasizing the progress made under the current administration.

However, she acknowledged that significant gaps remain in the sector pointing out critical areas that require urgent attention.

Dr. Ibrahim-Anas reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to addressing these challenges and advancing the nation’s healthcare system. She called for sustained collaboration among stakeholders, including health professionals, journalists, and policymakers, to achieve the shared goal of improving health outcomes for all Nigerians.
