The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, PTAD, has fully settled outstanding arrears owed to Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, pensioners.

PTAD said it disbursed 9.47 billion naira to 3,958 eligible pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme, representing the outstanding 50 percent balance of the Back-End Computation arrears.

‎The payment follows an earlier disbursement of 9.48 billion naira made in June 2026 to the same group of pensioners.

‎Executive Secretary of PTAD, Tolulope Odunaiya, said the total payment of 18.9 billion naira marks full settlement of the arrears and demonstrates the commitment of the Federal Government to the welfare of pensioners.
