REPS DISMISS N178 BILLION ALLEGATION AGAINST NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY BOSS
The Nigerian House of Representatives has exonerated Managing Director Mohammed Bello-Koko of N178 billion in bad debt allegations in the 2019 audited financial statement of the Nigerian Ports Authority.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Public Petitions, Mike Etaba, dismissed the allegations at a public hearing.
The Forum of Non-governmental Organisations in Nigeria accused NPA and Bello-Koko of complicity in the mismanagement of N178 billion for bad debt.
The forum failed to appear before the committee to defend its allegations.
However, the case has been dismissed for lack of merit.
