Russian forces have attacked a UN aid convoy in the partially-occupied southern Kherson region of Ukraine, causing damage to four vehicles.

According to media reports the attack was carried out by drones and artillery, targeting UN OCHA trucks near the frontline town of Bilozerka.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga called the strike a “brutal violation of international law” and criticized Russia’s disregard for civilian lives and international obligations.

The incident follows Russia’s bombardment of Ukrainian authorities and aid groups throughout the Russian invasion.
