Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio,has emphasized the importance of Nigeria’s economic growth and the need for continued support from the people of Akwa Ibom State.

Speaking at his 2024 Constituency Briefing and Empowerment Programme, Akpabio called on Nigerians to continue supporting President Tinubu as he works to address Nigeria’s economic challenges.

He praised the introduction of tax bills, removal of fuel subsidies, and floating of the naira, among other reforms introduced by Tinubu.

Akpabio also commended Governor Umo Eno for promoting peace and inclusivity in Akwa Ibom, highlighting the governor’s Christmas gesture of distributing rice to the APC family and an additional 1,500 bags for the PDP State Chairman.

He praised Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, for fostering unity in the Senate and praised Akpabio for his commitment to empowering his people.
