SGF HAILS NEW DIGITAL PLATFORMS FOR PUBLIC SERVICE REFORMS

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, George Akume, has commended the Bureau of Public Service Reforms for designing three digital platforms that will transform the way public service reforms are monitored, documented and communicated across government.

Represented by his Technical Adviser, Professor Bernard Babatunde, the SGF stated this at the official launch of the three strategic digital platforms in Abuja. The platforms include the Reforms Tracker Dashboard, the Knowledge Repository and the National Strategy for Public Service Reform Dashboard.

According to Professor Babatunde, the launch comes at a time when the Federal Government is renewing its commitment to good governance and improved public service delivery. He noted that the digital tools will strengthen accountability and enhance the implementation of government reforms.

He further disclosed that the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation will issue a service-wide circular directing all ministries, departments and agencies to collaborate with the Bureau of Public Service Reforms in implementing the new digital platforms.

The SGF also urged ministries, departments and agencies to fully adopt the platforms for monitoring and evaluating their performance, with the aim of improving efficiency, effectiveness and service delivery to Nigerians.
