STANDARDS ORGANISATION OF NIGERIA LAUNCHES FRAUD CONTROL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Stakeholders on standardization converged on Abuja to launch ISO 37003, Fraud Control Management Systems.
This standard provides guidelines for establishing, developing, implementing, evaluating, maintaining, and improving an effective anti-fraud management system for business in the country.
At the launch organized by Standards Organization of Nigeria in collaboration with British Standards Institution,BSI,Minister of Industry,Trade and Investment Jumoke Oduwole represented by Mrs. Chiachim Agu said the launch will further boost the integrity and standard of Nigerian businesses.
At the launch, Director General of Standard Organization of Nigeria,Dr.Ifeanyi Okeke represented by Dr.Talatu Etang lamented on the adverse effect of fraud on standardization and applauded the launch as a solution to quick fraud response and protection.
