Finally in sport, the Super Eagles have received their win-bonus for the 4-0 spanking of Mozambique in the 2025 AFCON Round of 16.

It is understood that each player was paid 15, 000 dollars and it was in cash.

They are yet to receive the 30,000 dollars each for qualifying for the knockout rounds of the tournament in Morocco.

The team had threatened a pay strike over outstanding bonuses at the AFCON, before officials rallied round to salvage the situation.
