Syria’s embassy in Stockholm has confirmed that Syrians were among the 10 victims of the worst shooting in Swedish history at a school in Orebro.

According to international media reports, the suspected gunman, 35-year-old Rickard Andersson, was killed in the attack, but police have not yet identified him or given a motive.

Two Bosnian citizens were also among the victims, one was wounded and another was missing. Police in Orebro reported an “inferno” when they entered the school, with dead people, screams, and smoke.

The motive for the attack is not ideological, but police are looking at different motives.
