The Tony Elumelu Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to democratizing wealth and prosperity across Africa through youth entrepreneurship. The Foundation says its goal is to empower young Nigerians and Africans more broadly, by creating opportunities that foster economic inclusion and sustainable development in communities .

Founder of the Foundation, Tony Elumelu, made this known during a parley held in Abuja, marking the announcement of a new cohort of 3,200 young African entrepreneurs selected for its flagship Entrepreneurship Programme.

Elumelu noted that young Africans possess the capacity to collectively transform the continent. He therefore urged beneficiaries to establish structures and mechanisms within their ventures that will not only ensure business success but also help to continuously spread prosperity within their communities.
