TROOPS RECOVER ONE POINT TWO MILLION LITRES OF STOLEN CRUDE IN NIGER DELTA 

Troops of the Nigerian Army have recovered one point two million litres of stolen crude, destroyed fifty six illegal refineries and arrested seventeen suspected oil thieves in the Niger Delta.

The Acting Deputy Director of six Division Army Public Relations, Jonah Danjuma, disclosed this in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

He said troops also destroyed eighty eight cooking drums and twenty boats used for the illicit activity in four states, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Akwa Ibom, respectively.

Danjuma disclosed that the operations which were conducted from November twenty five to December one, 2024, resulted in the deactivation of fifty six illegal oil bunkering sanctuaries.
