Vice President Kashim Shettima says that though Nigeria’s economy is facing challenges, the turbulence is a global issue and not peculiar to the country. 

He spoke during the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) in Abuja.

Nigeria’s inflation rate reached 33.69 per cent, according to a May 2024 data by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). 

But Shettima says the country’s situation is not an isolated case.

He, however, believes that President Bola Tinubu’s government will overcome the situation
