Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has denied being mentally unwell in a viral video that falsely depicted him as a madman.

The actor made this known during a monitored interview.

He explained that he was practicing for the role and was not aware of being recorded.

Anuku clarified that he is not on drugs and is in fact very healthy.

He added that he is not depressed, as depression can cause stress, but he is not on drugs.

Anuku also mentioned that the viral videos and subsequent rumors greatly affected him, leading to financial loss, job loss, and heartbreak.
