TOMPOLO RALLIES TARABA FOR TINUBU, DONATES 25 CAMPAIGN VEHICLES

Jalingo — Campaigns have begun in Taraba State ahead of the January 2027 presidential election.

‎The P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement launched its grassroots drive in Jalingo. It is calling on residents to support President Bola Tinubu for re-election.

‎The movement is led by its Grand Patron, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo. He was represented by High Chief Kestin Pondi.

‎Tompolo said Taraba is benefiting from the reforms of the Tinubu administration. He said the President needs more time to consolidate the gains.

‎He said  “Taraba is thriving because President Tinubu has good reformation policies that are moving the state forward. If we want those policies to continue, we need to give the president another four years.”

‎He said another term will ensure civil servants get salaries on time and Governor Agbu Kefas has more time to develop the state.

He noted that fuel queues and disruptions in universities have reduced under Tinubu.

He admitted reforms come with challenges but said they need time to yield benefits.

He urged supporters to take the campaign to homes, religious centers, wards, and polling units.

‎Governor Agbu Kefas said the people of Taraba are already seeing the impact of the Tinubu administration.

‎Kefas said  “You don’t need to tell the people of Taraba State what the President is doing; they are seeing what the President is doing through me.”

‎He said his administration is committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda. He pledged 100 percent votes for Tinubu in 2027.

Earlier, the National Coordinator of the movement, Sunday Asuku, said the group is in Taraba to rally support for Tinubu and Kefas. He said Nigerians should stay with the A-P-C, saying the country is on the right path.

‎The high point of the event was the donation of 25 campaign vehicles, generators and electronic speakers for grassroots mobilization.
